My projects often emerge from a process of attentive looking, to environments, people, and the subtle gestures that hold emotion and history in the everyday. I approach what I encounter with curiosity, asking: What is this moment telling me? Rather than beginning with a fixed method, I allow the encounter itself to suggest how it wants to be recorded. Photography becomes a way of observing, while tactile gestures emerge as ways of responding to what I encounter.
