Music beyond the end
I'v been documenting the Day of the Dead celebrations between Oaxaca, Mexico and Lima, Peru between 2016 and 2018. Its inhabitants pay homage, year after year, to the ones who are not present physically but their souls are always within them. I felt an interest because music was particularly present in Peru and Mexico but each in their own way of expression. Both countries show a rich culture and devotion to their traditions and rituals and I wanted to portray how different and somehow at certain points they meet, their beliefs and customs.
